The era of amazing barn finds is not over yet!
Imagine buying an old farm and discovering that inside a timber outbuilding you can glimpse two old cars, covered in a thick layer of dust. They turned out to be two Volvo PV444s—one from the very first production year, 1947, and the other from 1953. They had most likely been put into storage in the late 1960s and had not seen the light of day since.

A large hole had to be cut in one of the barn walls so that the finds could be lifted out with the help of a wheel loader.
Beneath the dust, the cars proved to be surprisingly well preserved, thanks to having been stored in dry conditions.

Bilweb Auctions has now been entrusted with the sale of these gems of Swedish cultural heritage, valued at around SEK 20,000 each.

Finally, a plea from the author of these lines to the new owner: do not wash them!
