On our upcoming classic car auction, a total of ten interesting collector-VW cars are participating.
- Yes, we rarely have so many nice classic VW-cars on a regular auction. But this time we have managed to gather two convertibles, four ordinary beetles, one “kubelwagen” and finally three “split” models, says Michael Luft, responsible for Bilweb Auctions.
- Specially the split version - split rear window 1936–1953 - arouses warm feelings for us who just love beetles. Clearly much cooler than a Ferrari or Porsche, according to us VW-freaks.
- A beetle with a split rear window in decent condition is worth between SEK 200-250,000. But there are cars in the best original condition that have been sold for over a million SEK, Michael concludes
