Bilweb Auctions was featured in the Gothenburg Classic Car Weekend (GCCW) booth at the collector car event Aurora, held this past weekend in the stunning Norrviken Gardens in Båstad.
On site were some of the world’s most exclusive sports cars and hypercars, along with rare vintage vehicles and BMW’s iconic Art Cars — painted by renowned artists such as Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
The Aurora has a clear focus on luxury and high-performance vehicles. Among the highlights were around ten Koenigsegg models as well as the ultra-rare Mercedes AMG One, a hypercar said to carry a price tag of 50 million SEK.
Passion drives demand for classic cars.
The Aurora drew large crowds across all three days, and it appears the organizers met — or even exceeded — their target of 15,000 visitors. Notably, a significant number of young enthusiasts were present, many of whom had traveled long distances to attend. This strong youth turnout is a clear sign that interest in cars and automotive culture is thriving among the next generation, promising a bright future for the car hobby and continued demand for both classic and performance vehicles.
