On October 23, the doors open for Auto e Moto d’Epoca, held in Bologna, Italy. It is described as Europe’s largest exhibition for classic cars and motorcycles.
During the first two days of the show, October 23–24, representatives from Bilweb Auctions will be present in Bologna. Send us an email or give us a call if you’re also attending and would like to meet up. You can reach us at michel.luft@bilwebauctions.se or +46 708 202 113.
The organizers expect over 5,000 vehicles to be on display. This year’s edition is the 42nd and runs until October 26.
For those planning to visit Auto e Moto d’Epoca, it’s a good idea to set aside more than one day, as the exhibition is enormous. The fairgrounds cover 235,000 square meters across 14 halls.
Spare parts and accessories
In addition to the 5,000 cars and motorcycles from all eras, there are dedicated areas for vendors selling spare parts and all kinds of motoring accessories.
Celebrating Formula 1
This year’s show features a special exhibition titled “75:1 – 75 Years, One Seat”, celebrating 75 years of Formula 1. Among the highlights is the Ferrari F2007 driven by Kimi Räikkönen, the most recent car to win the Drivers’ World Championship for Ferrari. The chassis on display, number 262, is the very car that secured victory in the decisive race in Brazil. Other legendary F1 cars on display include the Ferrari 500 F2 (1952), Mercedes-Benz W196R (1954), and Ferrari 156 F1 (1963).
Honda Classic showcases its two-wheeled heritage
Over an area of 600 m², Honda presents an extraordinary display featuring 38 iconic motorcycles—models that have shaped both Honda’s and the motorcycle world’s history. The collection includes everything from pure roadracing and motocross bikes to road models such as the CB750 Four.
And that’s just a fraction of what will be on display at Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Bologna, October 23–26.
