High interest and success when a classic car collection from Värmland was sold last week

- Success is the word! Many of the visitors when we showed the cars on site in Jössefors actually thought that most vehicles were worthless, says Michael Luft, head of Bilweb Auctions.

A 50-year-old Porsche 356 without an engine or interior was judged as totally junk by people during the event. But now it’s sold to a satisfied new owner in Denmark who won the bidding battle to secure the winning bid of 330 000 SEK!

- The Porsche will certainly be fully renovated and then sold for a good profit in Germany. What is scrap in most people's eyes is gold for a car collector, says Michael Luft

Several older cars from 1920s and 1930s were snapped up during the auction. Also noteworthy was the great interest in trucks. A Volvo N88 from 1968 was sold for SEK 232,000.

- We had bidders from all over the world during the online auction and several cars were sold to buyers from other countries, concludes Michael Luft.
