Great interest in classic cars in Sweden.
At our last auction during the Easter weekend, we sold over 150 cars between SEK 2,250,000 and SEK 35,000. Also, a number of classic motorcycles were sold between SEK 15,000 and SEK 180,000. The most popular car was a Volvo Amazon 123 GT which was sold for SEK 358 000.
- At the Spring Auction 2021, we have something for everyone. As usual there are many Swedish classics. Among the Volvos we have three Amazons and three Volvo PVs in price ranges from SEK 60,000 to SEK 160,000, says Michael Luft, responsible for Bilweb Auctions.
Among the more classic collector cars we have a red Austin Healy 300 BT7 from 1962 which is valued at about SEK 500,000. A winner driving under the spring sun.
Very unusual and from the USA is the sports car Bricklin with its V8 which was manufactured in a small series. The auction car is from 1975 and in a really nice unrenovated condition. Another Yankee is the Cadillac Series 63 De Ville with a terrace roof. The car is from 1959.
Among the sportier cars, we have a Ferrari 308 GTS from 1979 with only 80 000 km on the clock. Driven only in fine conditions. The car is valued at just under SEK 600,000.
- The sportiest car on the list is another Italian. The Lancia Delta Integrale, an unusual and very potent car with its 323 horsepower’s combined with four-wheel drive and low weight. The model was developed as a rally winner and in the right hands there is a lot of driving pleasure, says Michael Luft
