Shortly, a P1800S, two Volvo 240 Turbo and at the same time a pair of Volvo 262 Coupé cars will go under the hammer at Bilweb Auctions. These five Volvo stars will attract great interest among collectors.
"It's unusual that we have so many nice Volvo cars on the same auction. Both the P1800 S and 240 Turbo are very sought after on the market. The Volvo 242 Turbo that is now going under the hammer is in a fabulous condition and therefore it’s valued at 240 – 270 000 SEK, says Michael Luft, responsible for Bilweb Auctions.
The fact that many bidders are interested in P1800 and 240 Turbo models is nothing new. But now the Bertone-designed Volvo 262 Coupé with V6 engine has started gathering momentum.
"Yes, we have valued these pair of 262 C cars at 125 – 150 000 SEK and this shows that the market has woken up and we wouldn’t be surprised if prices will soar above our valuation”.
“When it comes to P1800, the interest for these models is always high all over the world. On this auction we have a beautiful car from 1964 with the right color for all lovers of the Saint. It comes with a well-documented history and we have set the value 330 – 350 000 SEK. "We expect great interest from collectors all over the world,” concludes Michael Luft.
