One of the last convertibles from Saab, this is also an early example from the Independence Edition series, numbered 8 out of a target of 336 produced. However, only 37 units were made before bankruptcy halted production. It has an interesting history, having been exported from England to Holland and then to Sweden.

A more rare and thus attractive model, with the internal designation AD35S-SP, is an Aero-equipped T8 that was sold exclusively in Sweden in a single color combination.
