Description
From the factory, the car was specified with a number of desirable options, including an automatic transmission, metallic paint, the Linear Active Package, Radio 150 audio system, 17-inch alloy wheels with an additional wheel set, xenon headlights, and rubber floor mats. This specification provides an excellent balance of comfort, practicality, and equipment.
Over the following years, the car has been driven with great care and has covered only around 108,750 kilometres (approximately 67,600 miles), a relatively low mileage for its age.
To preserve its excellent condition, the car received Ditec paint protection early in its life, along with a comprehensive Mercasol rustproofing treatment, including full underbody protection and corrosion sealing. It has always been garage-kept and cared for to a standard rarely found.
The service history is fully documented in the original service book, showing regular scheduled maintenance, with additional oil changes carried out in some years. The most recent service was completed at 107,300 kilometres (approximately 66,700 miles). At 93,000 kilometres (approximately 57,800 miles), a new ignition cassette was fitted, an important preventative maintenance item that contributes to the car's continued reliability.
The car passed its official vehicle inspection in April 2026 with no advisories or defects recorded. It is currently fitted with Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 summer tyres and BFGoodrich studded winter tyres, both sets having been purchased at approximately 94,000 kilometres (around 58,400 miles).
This is a well-preserved Saab with relatively low mileage, a fully documented history, and an exceptional level of care throughout its life. It represents an excellent opportunity for anyone who appreciates Swedish engineering and wishes to own a car that has been maintained to a very high standard.
The sale includes the original service book, factory equipment specification, additional documentation (see photographs), and two sets of keys.

Mechanical condition
The car starts easily and runs exactly as it should. The engine and drivetrain perform very well, and all other systems appear to function correctly. The air conditioning blows cold, and the car is in very good overall condition.
-
Interior condition
The interior is in very good, well-cared-for condition throughout. As expected, there are minor signs of normal use, including light wear to the inside handle of the driver's door (see photo). Otherwise, the interior presents exceptionally well. A small leather patch has been neatly applied beside the gear selector to conceal a minor hole.

The original paintwork is in very good condition overall. There are a few minor scratches on the left-hand side of the rear bumper (see photo). There is also some visible rust just ahead of the rear wheel at the end of the sill, and at the lower edge of the right rear wheel arch (see photo). The underside appears to be in good condition.
-
General condition
A well-maintained Saab 9-5 2.0t BioPower SportCombi in road-ready condition with a valid inspection. Given its excellent overall condition and careful maintenance, it is a car that is likely to provide many more miles of reliable and enjoyable motoring.

Facts about the model
After a long and successful production run, the first-generation Saab 9-5 reached the end of its life in 2009. To mark the occasion, Saab introduced the special Griffin edition as the model's farewell version.
Throughout its production, the Saab 9-5 was available as both a saloon and the highly popular SportCombi estate. Buyers could choose from a wide range of engines, most of them turbocharged four-cylinder units, reflecting Saab's long-standing expertise in turbocharging. Early models were also offered with a V6 engine sourced from Opel, while diesel versions used engines supplied by Fiat and Isuzu. Power outputs ranged from approximately 120 to 260 horsepower, with petrol, diesel, and BioPower (E85-capable) engines available, paired with either manual or automatic transmissions.
