Ford Model T Touring — 1914

This car was the eye of the owner. A car that he carefully renovated for many years. Many accessories and fine brass details, quite unique. The famous quote "Choose which color you want, as long as you choose black" is not really true but the extra cost of a different color made the customers opt out of this. Here is a copy in a very beautiful original dark blue color.

"A lovely brass T-Ford that will appeal to anyone who enjoys early twentieth-century cars. The engine runs but has not been tested and is being sold without a battery. The rear axle should be inspected and connected. Extra parts are included."

Description

The car was meticulously restored in the 1980s and 1990s. The car was most likely not used at all or was used sparingly. The engine runs and looks fantastic visually, and it appears to have been renovated in tandem with the car. The drive belts in the gearbox are brand new Kevlar and look fantastic. Because the early models had an aluminum gearbox and no starter motor, the car had to be hand-cranked "crank included." However, there is no drive from the gearbox to the rear axle, but everything appears to be in working order, and a proshaft that matches the car is included. Many high-quality brass details adorn the car. Because these are over 100-year-old parts, some traces of wear are visible; this adds to the car's charm. A Stewart-Warner accessory speedometer is also included. A toothed gear on the front wheel drives it by wire. Throughout the lifetime of the car, Ford dealers sold this accessory. Black leather covers the interior. Unfortunately, a fuel can leaked and etched itself in the upholstery, causing damage to the back seat. Aside from that, the decor is nice. The convertible top is stylish, and it is made of black synthetic leather. The body of the car is in good shape, and the painting is done professionally.
