"Unusual, affordable and easy to maintain in a user-friendly fine condition."

Description

It was brought to Sweden through love. An English woman met a Swedish man through her passion in horses, and she brought her pretty odd English sports car with her. The car was driven with English plates before being stored, although it was never registered in Sweden. In 2013, the current owner took over custody and hence the car's renovation. He started in 2014 and worked nonstop for two years. The registration encountered various complications with names and identities, such as an Arkley SS masquerading as an MG Midget or an Austin-Healey Sprite. Finally, the car was registered and regularly driven by its owner. Please keep in mind that this is a Right Hand Drive car.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The renovated 1100 engine feels energetic and healthy, thanks to two standard SU carburetors, a sharper cam, a "competition manifold" (extractor manifold), and a diff with a higher gear. The engine compartment is neat and clean.

  • Interior condition

Morris Minor seats with head restraints and beautiful carpets are stylishly upholstered, and everything feels complete and neat. Also as a nice leather sporty steering wheel.

  • Exterior condition

Good paint in British Racing Green (a colour that exists and was offered in numerous shades from many different car manufacturers), the bonnet has some "Spider web cracks" in the fibreglass. Nice wheels with no damage and nice tyres.

  • General condition

Nice, rare car with extensive paperwork, ready-to-drive in a renovated condition.

Facts about the model
