Mechanical condition
The car started right away and is equped with a new battery. The previous battery has been charged and is included. The short test drive felt calm and without problems, everything appears to work well. The car has been well-maintained over the years, and the timing belt was changed last year. With that said - since the car has been used sparingly in recent years, a service is still recommended.

Interior condition
The interior is very well maintained and in its original condition. The headliner, door cards, seats and carpets, as well as the dashboard and other details maintain a high finish and are in very good condition for their age. All electrical systems appear to work well, except for the central locking function on the passenger door - it needs to be locked and unlocked manually. A simple radio. The function of the sunroof is flawless. Original rubber protective mats, where the driver's side has been somewhat worn by high heels.

Exterior condition
Original paint in fine and glossy condition. The glass, plastic, and rubber details are also in fine condition. Over the years, the car has always been hand washed. Reconditioning with paint sealant was most recently done at Stockholms Bilvård J. Sandell AB. Rims and Continental tires are also in fine condition. Some scuffing on wheel sides. Engine and luggage compartments are in fine condition. Part of the sound insulation has come off on the hood.

General condition
This vehicle and its history are presented in an eight-page detailed report in the magazine Klassiker, no. 9 2023. Rightly so, this is a fine classic that can become a jewel in the car hall or with the collector. Few BMW cars from the 80s are in this exquisite and carefully driven original condition.

Facts about the model
Modellerna med 318i-motorer var kvicka fyrcylindriga bilar utrustade med bränsleinsprutning och 113 hk, från modellåret 1989. Detta resulterade i en acceleration från 0 till 100 km/h på 10,8 sekunder och en topphastighet på 188 km/h. Visst, det fanns mer kraftfulla versioner, men fyran med insprutning blev ett populärt och ekonomiskt val, kombinerat med BMW:s kvalitet och sportiga image.
År 1991 ersattes E30-modellen av den nya E36 i sedanversionen. Dock fortsatte cabrioletversionen av E30 att tillverkas ända fram till modellåret 1994.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
