"A classic from the time when bike from the gun factory were among the best and most durable ones you could ride on."

Description

It was delivered to its first and only user in June 1963. He was a conscientious motorcyclist, rode a lot, but also took care of his bike accordingly. The odometer currently reads 81147 km. The accompanying spare parts inventory is large and the special tools are as useful as they are exclusive. The current owner has kept his spouse's BSA in a warm cellar and, in recent years, in a warm garage. Note also the owner's tribute to his spouse, with the neatly painted name of the bike, placed on the left side panel.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The bike has been restarted after a twenty-year hiatus, after extensive cleaning of around twenty-year-old fuel residues. Carburetors, lines, intake, exhaust and electrics fixed and adjusted . The clutch, gears, and brakes all operate properly. Fuel system overhaul is still required, including new fuel hoses and some fine tuning.

  • Interior condition:

An older tear in the seat has long since been repaired and seems to hold up well, but is still visible.

  • Exterior condition:

Well-maintained and carefully handled. The small, self-designed handlebar fairing can easily be restored to the original headlight holder, and all original parts are still available.

  • General condition:

Exciting English bike with a conscientious owner in very nice and well-preserved condition. There is a lot of interesting history to dig into for a new owner.

Facts about the model
