Description
The first owner purchased the Yamaha in 1986. He used the motorcycle and installed a tuning kit called Butterfly at a price of 4,500 SEK nearly 40 years ago. Many years have passed since then, and in 1991, after a few more owners, the motorcycle ended up with a man who used it for nine years before falling ill and parking the motorcycle. This happened in the year 2000. The daughter then took over the motorcycle, and since then, it has been stored in a storage unit, hence the low mileage reading of approximately 4,403 miles. The current owner acquired the Yamaha in the winter of 2022 and has serviced the motorcycle with new oil, filters, spark plugs, and oil in the driveshaft. It has also been equipped with a new battery and clutch cylinder. An authorized workshop has cleaned and adjusted the carburetors. A compression test has been performed, showing 9.5 for cylinder 1, 10.3 for cylinder 2, 9.5 for cylinder 3, and 9.5 for cylinder 4, as seen in the picture. The motorcycle passed its inspection in April 2023 without any remarks.

Facts about the model
amaha V-max is a motorcycle that was introduced in 1985. The model was heavily influenced by contemporary muscle cars, like a "drag racer" on two wheels. There are various claims about its horsepower, ranging from 130 to 145 horsepower measured at the crankshaft, but measurements typically show just under 120 horsepower at the rear wheel. The motorcycle model gained somewhat of a cult following and was produced with almost no changes for over 25 years. In 2009, a successor was introduced, maintaining the same design but with significant modernization.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
