This car was registered new in September 1964 and has since had nine owners. The early history is not available but extensive documentation has been preserved throughout the approximately 20-year restoration period. The current owner purchased the car in 1990. The car was then in relatively good condition but some rust was present. The car was driven in its then-current condition for a short period before restoration work commenced. The meticulous owner chose to disassemble the car to its components and restore most of it. Parts of the interior, particularly the seats, he left in their original condition. The car was returned to traffic in 2013 and was last inspected in 2017. Permanently, according to current regulations. The odometer reading was then 53,692 km, which means it has only been driven approximately 500 km since then. The car has been standing still for many years now and has only been exercised at regular intervals. A minor service with fresh oils is recommended and an inspection of the brakes, which are new since restoration. Nicely painted undercarriage. The engine has also been restored in most respects. Spare wheel, jack and extensive documentation are included. There are also some spare parts included if there is interest in these.

Mechanical condition
Everything functioning well technically. The engine runs quietly and smoothly, and on throttle application the twin carburettors roar in their characteristic way. Gearbox shifts smoothly and brakes are even and responsive. Slightly uneven idling which is likely caused by approximately 5-year-old petrol.

Interior condition
Most of the interior has been replaced. New carpets and headlining. Painted dashboard and new door panels. The original upholstery, which is clean and intact, is somewhat faded in its red color.

Exterior condition
Excellent condition. Fine paintwork and chrome. New bumpers and trim strips. Minor parts of the chrome have been reused and these parts are in very fine used condition. New tyres fitted in 2010 and have only covered approximately 160 km. Fine wide steel wheels.

General condition
A thorough, fine restoration that has been kept warm and dry for many years. This means that it is essentially as fine as when it was driven out of the garage and re-emerged many years ago. We can recommend this car in every conceivable way.
