• Mechanical condition

  According to the owner's estimate, the car has traveled around 800,000 kilometers. The previous engine was renovated twice in what was then West Germany, while the current one was purchased new in 1989 from Mercedes' spare parts stock in Germany through the Mercedes dealer in Ulricehamn. Since then, the car has reportedly been used sparingly, with only an estimated 30,000-40,000 kilometers since the engine replacement.

• Interior condition

  The seat cover is in good condition. The car has always had a seat cover, and it has been replaced several times. According to the owner, the original upholstery underneath is nice and flawless. And beneath several layers of extra mats, the original rubber mat is actually intact after all the miles.

• Exterior condition

  The car has older paint in the original color. There are some rust spots on the body, but it's healthy and solid underneath. Currently, there's a noticeably positive camber on the rear axle, likely due to overly stiff springs or dampers, preventing the swing axle from lowering. The hubcaps are mismatched, but original caps might be available in a spare parts inventory.

• General condition

  Writing about an 800,000-kilometer vehicle with potential is an unusual statement, but this Mercedes can live up to much of what the phrase implies in a prejudiced way about a high-mileage Mercedes.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
