Description
This BMW 02 spent most of its life on an island off the Swedish coast, and then was bought by Klassiker magazine. The car had only been driven 90,000 km since it was sold new from Bilcenter in Visby. The readers of Klassiker followed cars overhaul with among thing like, Cylinder head and carburetor renovation, new ignition parts, brakes and new exhaust systems. The car was returned to like new condition.
A few years ago, the car was sold to its new owner that’s hardly used it. It has the original orange paint and comes with extensive documentation with old MOT papers dating back to when it was a new. It’s been featured in many editions of the magazine Klassiker

Clean and tidy engine bay. Smaller traces of oxide on battery holder.

Interior condition
Very clean and original interior with a few remarks: Small crack in a plastic stitching on the center console, minor crack on the top of the dashboard near the instrument cluster, smaller cracks on the steering wheel and small plastic detail missing for right side window.

Exterior condition
Well polished original paint, with the small standard stone chips and marks. An extremely small dent on the front edge drop frame, professionally painted original rims with 80% tires.
The chrome details are good, rubber seal around the front and rear windows have a dried and cracked. -
General condition
Perfect classic BMW in very nice condition

The BMW 02 Series is a range of compact executive cars produced by German automaker BMW between 1966 and 1977, based on a shortened version of the New Class Sedans. The 02 Series caught enthusiasts' attention and established BMW as an international brand.
The first 02 Series produced was the 1600-2 (later renamed 1602) in 1966. In 1975, the 02 Series was replaced by the E21 3 Series (except for the 1502 model which continued until 1977).
