Description
This 1953 Fleetwood Limousine was originally a director’s car at Kockums in Malmö and is still in good and non renovated condition, with traces of many years of use. Owned for many years by Sweden's own Cadillac authority Tage Jingnert is well-known and one of his absolute favorites. One of the best memories the car was used to drive Janni Spies at her bridal honeymoon.
This is a luxury Limo with middle window, extra folding seat, and locking safety boxes in the doors.
Leather seat up front for the driver was standard while the guests in the back seat sat on velour.
Underneath the hood is Cadillac's mild 331 V8 – with a nice Hydramatic gearbox. Since the car has garaged for many years, its needs a service.

Engine and Gearing runs well and is quiet. Leaking coolant and the car need an inspection before hitting the road.

Leather on the drivers seat is worn and there is cracking in the stitching. Otherwise its in all round good condition.

Facts about the model
In 1950, Cadillac introduced its new generation of its largest model 75. This was a real step forward compared to the predecessor with modern lines, full front window without center post and high ceilings. Underneath the hood, the Cadillac's 331 V8 mounted 190 hp with tripod manual as standard, while the fine automatic Hydramatic gearbox was an accessory.
Over the years, minor updates were made and in 1953, Cadillac came with a new grill with more integrated bumpers and horns. New for the year was also the parking lights directly under the headlights and new hub caps.
The Cadillac Series 75 was either a four-door or four-door limousine and the body was made by Fleetwood Metal Body in Pennsylvania - a very affluent karos manufacturer who started building bodies already in 1909. Among Fleetwood's major contractors were Lincoln and Packard.
In 1954, the next generation of Cadillac Series 75 was presented. This one also featured with bodywork from Fleetwood.
