"Early 911s are still highly sought after; this is a sensible and well-kept example."

Description

The car was imported from Germany to Sweden in 1984 and has had four Swedish owners since then. The present owner purchased the car last year, and it is now time for a change. The service book has been kept since its inception in Germany, as have all inspection protocols from 1985 to the present. The exhaust pump, which would dilute exhaust gases and reduce pollutants, has been removed, as has the exhaust pump on many other imported 911s from Germany to Sweden at the time. However, the pump is still available in case a buyer requires it. Nice with a bunch of old road tax stickers included

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

The engine sounds and feels recognizably strong with good torque, and the 915 gearbox is as tough as it should be. The car is recently serviced with oil, adjustments and all filters. Fresh engine compartment. Original tool set, air pump and jack.

  • Interior condition

Complete and clean so-called Pasha upholstery, the slightly psychedelic checkered plush upholstery that Porsche offered its customers in both the 911 and 928 at this time. Nice original steering wheel, and a wooden steering wheel included.

  • Exterior condition

Good paint in the original colour and nice Fuchs wheels with good tyres. The front fog lights appear to be retrofitted. The sunroof is both easy to operate and tight.

  • General condition

A good representation of the early 911s of the 1980s, it later became a "stock brokers car" in Sweden. However, the model from 1974 to 1989 is now known as the "G-series" among enthusiasts and is sometimes referred to as the "impact bumper model" in the United States because to the small rubber accordions on the side of the bumpers.
