Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Does not start. Have not driven in recent years. The engine turns but needs a service and a new battery. 4.2-litre XK machine and this model has a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. New tyres. Very nice chassis and engine compartment. Professionally treated with rust protection. There is no obvious rust. It rolls easily, but we have not tested the brakes and have only rolled it around for photos.
-
Interior condition
Original interior with a lovely, well-maintained patina. No obvious wear The dashboard's woodwork is in good shape. The carpet, door cards and headliner are all complete and attractive.
-
Exterior condition
A well-executed older repaint. Very good chrome and rubbers. There are some minor scuffs and stone chips in the front, as well as a little parking dent under the rear bumper "see pictures"
-
General condition
Inside and out, in great original condition. European style. Given the excellent condition of the interior and engine, the metre reading of 81,000 km may very well correspond to the car's mileage. It requires a start-up service and a new battery.
