Lohmann Engine Cykelmotor Typ 50 18cc Type 500 — 1952

It's a clip-on motor for your bicycle, and it's a marvelous piece of engineering that would probably still be popular if it was available today and in good condition.

"I'm not sure how you get 18cc out of an engine the size of an iPad mini. It is complete in the engine and in excellent condition, but has not been tested."

Description

The company began developing a two-stroke diesel clip-on bicycle engine in the late 1940s, and the Lohmann Type 50 cyclemotor quickly became a best-seller. Britax, a British firm, briefly used the 18cc engine, and agencies were established in Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. However, due to declining sales in the cyclemotor sector, production was discontinued in the late 1950s.

Due to his vacation commitments, the owners would like the collection to take place before July 10th.
