Mechanical condition
Technically, the car feels OK. The engine starts easily and the gears engage as they should. The brakes are dragging and the car pulls slightly under braking. An overhaul/lubrication of the brakes is recommended, as the car has been standing still for long periods since the inspection in 2021. A recommissioning service with oils and filters is also recommended, as well as a timing belt replacement. The fuel gauge functions unreliably and the charging warning light is on. The car is charging and has also received a replacement alternator, so most likely an electrical fault (sensor). The clutch has also been replaced by the current owner.

Interior condition
The interior is in good usable condition. The seats are intact but would benefit from an upholstery cleaning. Door seals are dry and some damage is present. Nice panels. The carpet has come loose in places and needs to be refitted and secured. Due to leakage from the sunroof, there are old moisture stains.

Exterior condition
The body has various damage. Rust is present, as well as scratches and minor damage. If you wish to use the car in its current condition, it should be possible to bring back the shine in the paintwork with a few hours' work with a polishing machine. Heavily oxidized original wheels.

A great restoration project for the cold and dark winter months. A project where you can choose your own level of ambition.

History and background
Second generation: The model is known as the MkII and was manufactured between 1982 and 1986.
Swedish launch: The Supra arrived in Sweden in 1983 as a successful and well-regarded performance car.
A facelift came in 1984. The model received an update including a new front end, integrated bumpers, and an updated interior that carried through to 1985/1986
Engine and performance
Engine: A 2.8-liter (2,759 cc) straight-six engine (5M-GE with fuel injection).
Output: 140 horsepower (slightly more in some markets, depending on emissions requirements).
Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive with a manual or automatic gearbox.
Legacy and status today
Classic status: The Supra has today grown into a sought-after collector car and classic.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
