Mechanical condition
Mechanically, the car has been well-maintained since new, and the engine has not consumed any oil over the years. The engine feels strong and responsive, and the gearbox operates smoothly. The hydraulic system is well-tuned, and if you pay close attention, you can feel the precise, fine movements where each corner of the suspension works harmoniously and accurately.

Interior condition
Well-maintained and inviting original interior in surprisingly good and fresh condition given the mileage. Classic Citroën seating comfort with an armchair feel both front and rear. Complete, clean, and neat. The distinctive and charming bathroom scale instruments of earlier models have been replaced in the Series 2 models (and also in the Turbo Series 1) with easy-to-read round gauges.

Exterior condition
Repainted in 2001 and still looking just as good today. The glass and plastic are in good condition with stylish black tones. It features nice original wheels with the expensive Michelin TRX tires, which are about 15 years old. New ones are available (just over 4,000 SEK each), but both the price and the clever design have become outdated. Kudos to Michelin for continuing to produce them for those who are stuck with TRX wheels on their 1980s youngtimers. A set of original wheels from a GTi Series 1 and a Turbo Series 1, which fit standard tire sizes, is available and can be included.

General condition
In exemplary condition, this model has a dedicated following among Citroën enthusiasts. If you want to use the cool original wheels, the car's only real downside is the price of a new set of Michelin TRX tires—expect to pay 16,000 SEK and up for four. As one writer put it, "The Betamax of tire technology, the Michelin TRX." Google Betamax vs VHS, and you'll get the picture.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
