Volvo 242 DL B20 — 1975

• Mechanical condition

  This Volvo 240 is undoubtedly one of the finest I've had the pleasure of driving in recent memory. It offers a truly enjoyable driving experience, and you'd hardly believe it's nearly 50 years old. The car presents no notable issues, except for a non-functional clock and the inclusion of more modern alloy wheels with good tires. Under the hood, the engine bay is clean and well-maintained, with only minor surface rust spots on the front plate, as depicted in the pictures. In essence, just turn the key and drive off with confidence.

• Interior condition

  The entire interior of the car has been exceptionally well-preserved and feels almost like new. It's impressively clean and fresh, displaying no signs of damage, except for some loose vinyl around the driver's seat handle for tilting the seat, as shown in the picture. Additionally, a more modern and functioning stereo has been installed, enhancing the overall interior experience.

• Exterior condition

  The car's bodywork is in excellent condition, featuring straight panels, no rust, precise shut lines, and a clean underbody. The previous application of internal body rust protection has contributed to its current state.
  The paintwork is notably bright and well-maintained, as is the chrome on the bumpers. There are only three minor issues to note: a small blister near the rear bumper, a minor blemish above the rear ventilation grill under the window, and a small paint flake on the edge of the passenger-side front wing, likely caused by a pressure washer accident.

  Any Volvo enthusiast would be thrilled to own and drive this car, with many trouble-free motoring years to look forward to.

Important to know before placing your bids!

• Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
• When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
• If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
• If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
• Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
• For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
