Description

These cars are timeless and have a beautiful design, which is why they are highly sought after today. Since living in central Stockholm, the current owner has hardly driven more than 700 kilometres since purchasing the car in 2004. When he bought the car, it had been renovated and repainted in 2002, and fitted with a 2.0 twin cam engine, most likely from a Berlina/spider, and seats from a 1980s GTV.
Today, it has a good and clean underbody, rust blisters on both doors, front left wing edge surface rust on the rear jacking points (see pictures).

The last inspection was approved in 2015 and it has been garaged since 2016, so it now requires service, tuning, and a technical review. The car starts and drives with plenty of power, but the carbs need to be serviced, as does the damp around the rear axel and the brakes. The mileage of 46458km is probably 146,458km, but there is no way to confirm this.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

The car starts and drives, but it needs service, carb adjustments, a brake inspection, and a new battery. Dampness in the vicinity of the rear axel. Good tyres. After these repairs, it will be ready for its final inspection/MOT.

  • Interior condition:

Interior is clean and tidy but the seat arent original prrobably taken from a 1980´s GTV but still fits with the Alfa feeling. Passenger side door sometime tricky to open, good carpets and crack free dashboard and no radio fitted "See pictures"

  • Exterior condition:

As previously stated, the main rust blisters are around the door corners and the left wing's edge. The underbody is clean and rust-free, with only visible welding around the left jack point. The paintwork is in good condition overall, with some minor marks and stone chips that can be improved with a polish. Good  chromework with a small mark and dent in the rear bumper. Steel wheels need a repainted.

  • General condition:

This car has a lot of options, but I'd get it running properly and drive it as is while fixing the rust over the winter.
