Description
Manufactured in France in late 2000. The first owner, a well-known Renault enthusiast in Stockholm, acquired it from Bilia Haga Norra in December of the same year. It shared the garage with Gordini and Alpine cars but was driven sparingly. The current owner purchased the car a little over a year ago. Since the car had not been driven much in recent years, he carried out various services and updates, including:
replacing the timing belt, tensioner pulleys, etc. Oil change, coolant, brake fluid, spark plugs, and water pump. Brake discs were machined. New windshield wipers installed. The air conditioning was recharged and cools excellently. The car was stored and repainted on the right side due to door marks that needed to be addressed, and then it was polished.
Replaced parts are available and included if desired. Two brand-new factory wheels, Renault Clio Sport originals, are also included. Instruction manuals and the service book (not yet filled out, first service interval at 1,500 miles) are present and included.

Starts easily and runs smoothly. All functions are working as they should.

Interior condition
Interior in "like-new" condition. Renault sport seats with matching upholstery, door panels, carpets, and headliner. The steering wheel is also in the same condition. The radio code is missing but can be obtained.

Exterior condition
Very nice and glossy paintwork. The glass, plastic, and rubber details are also in excellent condition. All emblems and trim are in the same condition. The wheels are very nice and free from curb damage, although there's some discoloration on the wheel bolts. Original Michelin tires. The engine and trunk compartments are in impeccable condition.

A cool little GT car that's in unbelievably good condition and is now serviced and ready to drive. With only two owners and low mileage, combined with its condition, this car becomes a classic and an interesting investment that holds promise for the future.

Facts about the model
In 1990, the Renault Clio replaced the previous best-seller Renault 5 and became the European Car of the Year in 1991. Clio II succeeded the first generation in 1998 and was produced until 2005.
It was produced in various versions ranging from 3 to 5 doors in a hatchback body style. Over time, it offered different engines from diesel to a mid-mounted six-cylinder version, although it was more of a dedicated racing car. The more civilized Sport version, the 2.0L 16V, was manufactured from 2000 to 2002. It resembled the regular Clio but was significantly enhanced with a 169 hp engine, Renault racing details both externally and internally, and, of course, a different chassis setup along with wheels and tires. It was considered lively and very fun to drive. It could reach a top speed of 220 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 7 seconds. It's rare in our northern latitudes.
