Description
The present owner has done several restorations and repairs to the car during his ownership, including rust repairs in the floors and new shock absorbers and springs all around, which resulted in the car being somewhat lowered at the time of purchase. The brake pipes and rear hoses have been changed, as have the front brake hoses. Brake discs and pads have been replaced all around. The car also has a new battery and exhaust system, and the clutch was replaced in December 2021.
Service in the spring, all fluids and ignition parts were replaced. The car comes with new summer tires and older studless winter tires.
In 1984, the car cost slightly over SEK 60,000 when new.

Interior in good functioning order. The fabric on the C-pillars was removed, sanded, and then painted gray. In some locations, the headliner is hanging. There are bubbles in the tape veneer on the instrument panel.

The paint isn't perfect, but it's in good shape (perhaps repainted), with some paint improvements, cracks, and chafing. Rust on the bottoms of the doors.

90. När Saab 99 premiärvisades 1967 höjde många på ögonbrynen – den såg inte alls ut som föregångarna. Allt var nytt och ombyggt från grunden. 99 kan sägas vara den första *moderna” Saaben, och blev tillsammans med efterföljaren 900 storsäljaren framför alla andra.
1984: Stolsdynorna sänktes för bättre takhöjd. Brytarlöst tändsystem infördes. Till 1985 års modell bytte Saab namnet från Saab 99 till Saab 90 i samband med att den fick bakparti från Saab 900 som ett försök att öka försäljningen. Den 22 november 1967

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
