"The fine fish that's not so common in Swedish waters."

Description

This Barracuda is being auctioned on behalf of an estate. We don't know much about the car and there's no documentation available for it. The car was sold new in Sweden and has had five users/owners. The current owner acquired the car in 2019. It's in drivable condition but needs a start-up service and inspection since it has been standing still for a while. The last inspection was in September 2017. The paintwork is in acceptable condition and the car has received a rust protection treatment that still looks good. The underside of the car looks good. A lovely model of American car with a large panoramic-type rear window. The car's powertrain consists of a V8 engine connected to an automatic transmission. The first-generation Barracuda was based on Chrysler's A-body and was manufactured from 1964 to 1966. The model was a two-door hardtop (no B-pillar) fastback design. It shared a large majority of parts and body with the Plymouth Valiant, except for the enormous and distinct panoramic rear window.

  • Interior condition:

The interior is in a worn condition. The vinyl of the driver's seat is torn in several places, and the back seat vinyl also has some cracks, see pictures. The carpets have varying colors, and the front one seems to have been replaced. These have damages and have come loose in several places, see pictures. Door panels have some damages and creases, see pictures. The headliner appears to be in good condition but has a few dirt stains.

  • Exterior condition:

The Barracuda has an older repaint in decent condition with some touch-ups and a few paint blisters, see pictures. The paint on the grille has peeled off. There are some rust spots/rust patches, see pictures.

  • General condition:

A car in a normal condition for its age. It leaves a pleasant impression and will improve after a thorough inspection and service.
