Description
This car arrived in Sweden in the year 2000 as freight from the USA, thus exempt from emissions requirements. In 2013, it was acquired by Per Fogelberg, who had it transformed into its current appearance and condition. Prepared for track racing (with a vehicle book inspection) but also registered for road use. The engine is a 1600 cc equipped with an EN camshaft and Jenvey individual throttle bodies with Omex management, delivering approximately 135 horsepower to the rear wheels. The car has been stripped down for minimal weight, featuring a roll cage, Sparco seats, five/six-point harnesses, as well as regular seatbelts for everyday traffic. Adjustable brake balance from the driver's seat, lambda value indicator, Koni suspension, ventilated discs, and racing tires, among other features.
There's a simple convertible top that can be fastened and rests on a small frame above the roll cage, which is best removed for racing. The current owner has had the car for six years and has driven it sparingly. During test drives and filming, with screeching tires and black marks on the asphalt, he once again had a smile from ear to ear.

Facts about the model
When the classic sports cars from the British Isles faded away during times of homogenization and safety considerations, Mazda made a move in the late 80s. Suddenly, there was a small sports car that flirted with the past yet had a future. With the engine up front and rear-wheel drive, and a distinct design reminiscent of the Lotus Elan, including pop-up headlights, it became an instant success. The first version of the Mazda MX-5 (Miata) went on sale in 1990. The generation produced from 1990 to 1997 is known as the NA. The engine was a 1596cc mounted longitudinally with 16 valves and 116 horsepower, coupled with a five-speed gearbox. They weren't really speed demons, but in a small, low car, it was more than enough. It was not only fun to drive but also a very reliable car, with no oil leaks and a waterproof convertible top. From the beginning, a functional hardtop was also offered.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
