Nice ride, tight and stable all around, the engine that sounds like it should and the gears change smoothly. The underbody is in very good condition.

Interior condition
The Interior is in blue plush which feels very fresh and barely used. All details testify to robust quality.

Exterior condition
Nice in paintwork, glass and rubber details. The turbine wheels are in good condition. A hint of rust at the left front wing low down. Some minor dents and small stone chips. There is discolouration in the reflectors of the headlights at the bottom.

General condition
Apart from a few details to refine, a very robust and fine representative of Swedish car history. It is said that no car model is as good as at the end of the production era, which is proven here. We also know that; Volvo's value lasts!

Volvos Herrgårdsvagnar - ett begrepp. Det började med Volvo Duett 1953, Amazon 1963, Volvo 145 1968 som sedermera fick en uppgradering 1975 till modell 245.
Hösten 1979 kom så modellvarianten GLT, Grand Luxe Touring. År 1991 får så alla 240-modeller en rejäl facelift med nya framskärmar, strålkastare, spoiler, grill och smäckrare stötfångare. Olika uppgraderingar sker genom åren och det blandas med motorer och utrustning. GLT-modellerna har rikligare utrustning men mot slutet av produktionstiden blir skillnaden allt mindre. Från januari 1989 blir det rättning i ledet, i Sverige får endast B230F-motorn med katalysator säljas. Faktiskt samma som i GL-modellen. GLE och GLT blir nu endast ett utrustningspaket. Årsmodell 1991 blir den sista för modellen. Volvo 850 bankar på dörren...

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
