Description
The car was sold new in Gotland and was driven there until 2010 when the current owner bought the car. At the same time as the purchase, Film AB Malte Forsell used the car for the filming of "The girl with a Dragon Tattoo" with Daniel Craig and Roney Mara. It took some persuasion from the new owner to lend his nice Duett, but in the end, he agreed and the car was used in the film. There is a video accompanying this film.
When he got the car back, it was used during the summer. As the floor was a little rusty, he decided to leave the car at a well-known auto body workshop to replace the floor in the passenger compartment (see pictures). As the outside of the car was good and had a nice patina, he left it untouched.
Now the collection of cars has increased so this needs to be sold as space is needed for new ones.

The engine runs fine and the car works well. Recently upgraded with new front brake discs and a completely new brake system in general.

The Interior is in good condition with a fine patina, minor damage is present.

Exterior condition
An older repaint that has held up well, there are some cracks in the paint and small damages. The floor in the passenger compartment has been replaced by a professional (see pictures). The chrome and trim are in good condition with small traces of use. The wheels and tyres are without remark.

General condition
A Duett in a good driving condition that participated in the recording of "The girl with a Dragon Tatoo". A video is included with the car.
The car is completely ready to drive and works fine, a nice advertising car for your company.

Facts about the model
Volvo Duett tillverkades från 1953 till 1969. Den sista Duetten var kungsblå och lämnade bandet den 11 februari 1969. Den hade chassinummer 97 299 och finns på Volvo Museum. Sammanlagt hade då drygt 93 000 Duetter och 4 200 leveranschassin producerats.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
