Volvo 245 DL — 1977

A really nice Volvo that was treated as if it were a member of the family. A car for those who desire to go back in time to 1977. Take a seat and pretend you're as young as you were back then.

There is only one owner. The car has always been regarded as if it were a part of the family. During the winter, the current seller's father parked it and drove it into the garage. For the past five years, the car has been parked in the same garage. Now, the son believes that it is time to pass the car on to someone who will treat it with the same care that his father did.

The low mileage is attributed to the owner usually driving his company car. The B21 engine powered the DL model, while the B19 engine powered the L variant. The car has an original radio but no towbar. Four-speed. The new car cost a little more than SEK 40,000.

"If you want even more power and a little finer finish on the interior, you choose DL with the B 21 engine and, for example, more comfortable adjustment of the height of the driver's seat," says Teknikens Värld in "Alla Bilar 1977." The 245's spaciousness, superb performance, and first-rate load capacity are among the qualities that progressively catapulted it to the top of the rankings, despite its high price.

Facts about the model
