Description
The car was built in Gothenburg in the autumn of 1966, exported to the United States, and sold new in Los Angeles. It rolled in a dry climate until it was returned to Sweden in 2016. The outside of the body was repainted many years ago in a copper-brown metallic color. This paintwork has been sun-bleached and flaked in areas. In the luggage compartment, the original color, a light yellow-green, can be seen (code091). The car is almost entirely rust free. Only a nail-sized hole behind the left rear wheel and one on the boot floor have been discovered. Underneath, on floors, in beams, and sills are all fine. The car starts easily and can be tested (B18 engine with a carburettor), and it has new brake calipers and pads all around, as well as exhaust systems, tires, and a battery this year. The old tank proved difficult to clean, therefore a new one is included. Because the new tank is not yet fitted, the car is now driven with fuel supplied by a separate petrol bottle in the engine compartment. The decor is authentic and untouched. The key is missing, but the car may still be started by pressing a button in the engine compartment.

Mechanical condition
It starts easily and runs well. Newly refurbished brakes On engine parts, there is some surface rust (see photos).

Interior condition
The interior is very deteriorated. Carpets, door panels, seat upholstery, and dashboard upholstery all need to be replaced for the car to look nice. Electrical and lighting systems will need to be inspected.

Exterior condition
The paintwork is sun-bleached and flaking. The doors and bonnet have a good shut line and only minor corrosion. For a renovation project, this is a surprisingly decent body. Bumpers are worn.

Excellent project car. A good bodywork is the foundation for a successful renovation. It also starts and can be driven, which is a big plus.

P1800 S coupé tillverkades från 1960 till 1972. De första åren byggdes bilen i Englad, men produktionen flyttade till Göteborg 1964, för bättre detaljarbete och rostskydd.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
