"A sharp and rugged Porsche with a wonderful engine sound."

This Porsche 911 Cab Tiptronic was imported from Germany and came to Sweden in 1999. The current owner purchased the car in June 2010, becoming the third Swedish owner of the vehicle. When he bought the Porsche, the odometer read 108,000 kilometers, and today, the car has covered 116 150 km.

The car has been well taken care of and always stored in a garage. The Porsche has mainly been used for driving children to school events and attending car gatherings, but it has also been used on other occasions. A binder with some documentation is included. It passed the Swedish vehicle inspection in August 2023 without any issues. It has been well-maintained, as seen in the service book photos.

  • Mechanical condition:

The engine and transmission perform well. It's lively and responsive, quickly responding to throttle inputs. According to the owner, everything in the car works except for the electrically operated soft top, which needs to be folded manually. The gas struts for the engine hood and trunk lid are a bit tired and do not hold the lids in the open position. There is a crack in the right front turn signal lens.

  • Interior condition:

The interior is in a nice and well-maintained condition overall. The seats and door panels are in good condition with signs of use. The carpets are in good shape. The convertible top is in excellent condition but needs to be folded manually. There is a torn seam in the convertible top cover, as shown in the picture.

  • Exterior condition:

The exterior is in good condition. The original paint has a few small scratches and a minor scrape, as shown in the pictures. The car is in very good condition underneath.

  • General condition:

Well-maintained car. A good example in a condition that matches its 110 000 km. It can be driven year-round, but it's at its best as a summer car with the convertible top down. A reasonably priced classic

Facts about the model

Few cars have become such classics as the Porsche 911. Already in 1963, the 901 was introduced as the successor to the 356, and after a quick name change to 911, it is today a special combination of numbers for anyone in the automotive world. As with its predecessor, Porsche retained the basic design with a rear-mounted air-cooled flat-six engine, but this time with six cylinders. In 1973, the 911 underwent a major modernization, partly to meet the new tougher legal requirements in the USA. The model is known as the 911G internally and was upgraded until 1989 when it was replaced by the 964 – the next generation 911. This particular car is from that model year. One of the major changes came in 1983 when the engine was enlarged to 3.2 liters, and the model name became the 911 Carrera.
