Description

This car was purchased new by the Swiss police force and used as a demonstrator vehicle to show other district police departments the new Volvo 144s model. Later, the Fire Department purchased the car and repainted it in its current red colour. The special zip out headliner for mounting special equipment is still visible. The engine was changed to a B20 at some point during its service. The current owner purchased the car in 2013 and had it shipped from Holland to Sweden. The owner has overhauled the engine and replaced worn parts, as well as repaired the bodywork; the car has never had major rust issues, but it did require some minor repairs.
