Description
Unusual formula car from a late sixties successful Italian formula car brand, Techno. This unrestored example was equipped with a Husqvarna engine when it started and it is said to be the only one that got such an engine. In the mid-sixties, Formula 4 equipped with motorcycle engines was intended to be a step in the borderland for drivers between go-karts and Formula 3. At the same time, Formula Ford and Formula Vee were also introduced, both of which developed into large entry-level classes. The competition became too great and Formula 4 never really got hold of Sweden. The Tecno brand, on the other hand, was of great importance to the future international Swedish racing stars Ronnie Peterson and Reine Wisell, who won many races in Formula 3 with precisely the Tecno cars in the late sixties. The car comes with extensive documentation. Among other things, the importer Connys Racing Department's advertisements from that time can be seen there. Conny Holmberg, who owned the agency, is still with us today and can tell us a lot about those days, including how it happened when he, Ronnie and Reine went down to Italy to pick up the Tecno Formula 3 chassis from the factory. Both Ronnie and Reine tested the Tecno 4 cars on Swedish tracks.

Unrenovated complete chassis with a refurbished Husqvarna 250. The engine is not completely complete, the throttle cable and some other small parts are missing.

On the inside, it is as untouched and unrenovated as on the outside. But everything seems to be complete.

Untouched and nicely patinated bodywork with fine Tecno decals. Old tyres on unrefurbished wheels.

Good object to create a nice refurbished Tecno 4 from with a body that tells a story.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
