They drove it for several years before deciding to renovate it in the 1970s.
Mercedes has never been particularly rusted, but during renovation, the interior was renovated in the original style, and it received a fresh coat of paint in the original colour.
The current owner purchased the car five years ago and has since upgraded it with new carburetors and electronic ignition systems. He believes that any other enthusiast can enjoy this classic because it runs extremely well and is fun to drive.

Mechanical condition
Everything works perfectly and has recently been serviced. The top (120 horsepower) and electronic ignition system have been installed. New Weber carburetors have also been fitted to replace the originals, which are still included. This means you have approximately 120 hp rather than the specified 105 hp.

Interior condition
It was professionally reupholstered during a renovation in the 1970s and is still in great condition. The early 190s had the same sports seats as the 300 roadster and coupe.

Exterior condition
An older professional repaint that has stood the test of time. However, there are some minor flaws on the boot lid and the rear edge of the bonnet. There are also some minor rust blisters on the rear edge of the left rear wing. Chrome, wheels with new tyres, no remarks. The convertible top appears to have been scarcely used and is in excellent condition.

A great, well-kept, and enjoyable Mercedes that runs smoothly and keeps up with the pace of Swedish roads.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
