A very nice civilian police car with an interesting backstory. It was used on behalf of the community by Östersund Police investigators.

"A Volvo PV in a fine shape. It occasionally emits blue smoke from the exhaust pipe. Despite this it runs well."

Description

The original color of olive green has been repainted. New exhaust pipe, ceiling, passenger seat, and bumpers have been installed.

21st of August, 2018 Kraftoljan treated the underbody with linseed oil. The car was purchased at a surplus warehouse after the seller's father-in-law used it as an investigation car for the police in Östersund. It was owned until 1998, when the owner died and the seller's brother-in-law was given permission to take over ownership. It had only been used for PV club summer outings until 2018, when the brother-in-law died and the seller was given permission to take over the car. It has remained standing since then. There are traces of it having been used by the police in the luggage compartment. It is noted where an extra fan belt, shovel, and other items would be stored.

The car feels good and performs well on the road, but it occasionally emits blue smoke.

Facts about the model
