Description

It was imported a few years ago from Missouri, USA to Vaggeryd, Sweden. The current owner has only driven the car to the inspection center. There is an abundance of documentation, workshop literature, and service and maintenance history. The 1990 model year was the last before the final version and facelift were announced.

Facts about the model

The Jaguar XJ-S (later XJS without a hyphen) was produced from 1975 to 1996 as a coupe and convertible in three series/versions over the years, and a total of 115,413 XJS were produced over just over 20 years.
The final version, Series 3 from 1991 to 1996, was produced partly after Ford had taken over Jaguar, and it is likely that many would agree that the Ford period was not the most successful for the brand from a brand enthusiast perspective. However, it was probably successful from a survival perspective.
