"A well-kept car owned by a knowledgeable owner and driven frequently over the summer. Nothing needs to be fixed since it runs and drives fine."

Description

The car was purchased by the current owner, a classic car enthusiast, in 2010, and he has owned several other comparable models, so he understands how to properly maintain them. It has only been driven over the summer, and there are no visible rust issues on the bodywork. The car comes with some older inspection/MOT records as well as a reasonable mileage of at least 151 907 kilometers. The factory sunroof is a wonderful and uncommon feature, making this a great summer car for someone. Since it is over 50 years old, the car is free from inspection/MOT.

Condition

  • Mechanical condition:

It drives and operates nicely, and it has smooth brakes and a new gearbox because the previous one had a synchro mess problem and new exhaust. The 2.0-litre engine is far more appealing, keeping up with modern traffic with ease.

  • Interior condition:

With the exception of a radio, the interior is fully original and complete. A nice and unusual feature is the factory sunroof. The textile on the seat is complete but worn, and there is a small hole in the back of the rear seat near the glass. "Please see the attached photographs." Wooden trim requires varnishing.

  • Exterior condition:

The bodywork is very straight and rust-free, and the underbody is likewise tidy and rust-protected. The paintwork is clean and has a nice gloss; it was repainted in 2014. Good tyres, wheels and hubcaps. A hardly noticeable dent on the roof near the sunroof.

  • General condition:

The perfect car to get started in the classic car world, it's easy to drive, reliable, and inexpensive to run, and it's of German quality.
