"Nice, original bike, well maintained and kept in good running condition by its owner. The four carburettors have recently been renovated and properly balanced."

Description

Late-model Honda CB500 Four, sold and registered in Sweden in 1976. Now over 50 years old, this is an iconic Japanese bike from the era that overtook British dominance—offering electric start, front disc brake, and superior build quality.

Retains its classic styling and is fitted with its original double 2-into-1 exhaust system. Clearly enthusiast-owned, it remains largely original and in very nice condition.

The current owner has had it for 5 years, used lightly during summers, and always stored in a warm garage. Older inspection reports help verify the mileage, and receipts and some spare parts are included (see photos).

Condition

  • Mechanical condition

Starts easily with a little choke and just a few minutes to warm up. The engine runs smoothly and evenly, with easy gear changes and solid brakes. Recently fitted with a new battery, and the carburettors have been renovated and balanced. Good wire wheels with older, usable tyres. Inspection exempt and ready to ride.

  • Interior condition

Nice double seat in good condition with no damage.

  • Exterior condition

The bike presents well in its original paint and decals, with no notable dents, damage, or rust. The paintwork is in good condition with some minor marks and scratches—normal wear for a 50-year-old bike. Chrome work is clean and bright throughout, and the engine also presents well, just lightly dusty and would benefit from a simple clean.

  • General condition

These bikes are comfortable and easy to ride for all types of riders, offering a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Ready to be ridden and enjoyed straight away.
