The car is being sold as part of an estate, where the owner was a very meticulous and knowledgeable person. The car was purchased in 1995 and has been exceptionally well taken care of since then, with all services properly maintained.

The owner also paid attention to the appearance of the car and had the paint treated by Mr CAP. Additionally, the car has been updated with various original accessories. Original wheels are included, fitted with studded tires.

Facts about the model

In 1992, another model was introduced, called the 9000 CS (Combi Sedan), which was based on the 9000 CD but had a combi-coupé design like the 9000 CC (which was now referred to as the original body style). It had a lower front and higher rear end. In 1995, the 9000 CD also received the new front from the CS. The following year, as the 1993 model year, the Aero model returned with 225 horsepower and the CS body style. This model also featured the so-called "pilot interior" with bucket seats and rear seat. At the same time, the Griffin was introduced, a 9000 CD with a more luxurious and comfortable focus than the sporty Aero, equipped with a turbocharged engine producing 200 horsepower. For a few years, there was also a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 210 horsepower from Opel, which replaced the four-cylinder engine in the Griffin model. In Finland, a concept car was developed when they were preparing to produce the Griffin model—a Saab 9000 CD with a specially-designed V8 engine. With this, Saab aimed to break into the American market, but instead, the aforementioned V6 engine was chosen. A variant of the Opel engine was also available in the Saab 900 from the 1994 model year. From 1994, the engines were slightly modified to accommodate the transmission and were sometimes referred to as "short block" engines.
