Description
The car was completely overhauled about 5 years ago. New exhaust system and
front wings. Brakes were renovated, including the calliper. Rust protection has been applied. Original bumpers, for example. The car is outfitted with an original radio. It comes with a large number of spare parts, both new and used, workshop manuals, spare parts catalogues, roof racks, snow chains, and other accessories, as seen in the images.

Mechanical condition
Everything works in the car. It runs well in the engine and drive line.

Interior condition
The upholstery on the back of the rear seat has small holes. The headliner has a repaired tear (see photo).

Exterior condition
Both of the front wings have been replaced and repainted. The bumpers have been replaced as well. The car is otherwise in its original form. See images for a little door opening marks and two small dents in the roof caused by a sofa transported on the roof rack. The image also shows a scratch on the left rear wing.

A nice inspection-free car. Enjoy the summer in the French style.

Facts about the model
Den sålde bra i hela Europa, hela 1,845,959 R16:s byggdes under modellens livstid. Den fick mycket beröm för sin komfortabla inredning och höga utrustningsnivà med tanke pà priset. Från början såldes R16 bara med en 1.5 L bensinmotor vilket senare toppades av en 1.6 liters maskin som gav bilen en topphastighet av 160 km/h.
Den högsta utrustningsnivån hette TX och hade funktioner som elektriska fönsterhissar och centrallås vilket hittills var helt okänt för den europeiska familjebilsmarknaden. När R16 upphörde med produktionen 1980, och blev ersatt av den mindre lyckade R20, var den fortfarande en av dom mest populära och mest sålda familjebilarna i Europa. Vid denna tid hade även de flesta andra europeiska biltillverkarna tagit idén med halvkombi och hade minst en sådan version i produktion.
1969 kostade En Renault R16 18 200 kr på gatan.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
