Description
It seems likely that the car survived because of the lady's meticulous maintenance. The paint has been sun-bleached and weathered over time. There is surface rust in the seams and edges, but there is also more persistent rust in the lower rear corners of the front wings, as shown in the images. The car has not been tested because it has been parked for many years. It requires extensive service, including cambelt replacement. The metre reads 83136 kilometres, which could be correct given that the first owner is the only one who has driven the car. The most recent inspection/MOT took place in 2007. This is a car that should not exist in this condition, as most cars of this model are now rusted away.

Interior condition
The interior is in a working condition with cracked seams in the front seats. All side panels in the car have the protective plastic left over from when it left the factory.
Slightly dry cracked rubber seals. A reconditioning is to be recommended. -
Exterior condition
After a period of inactivity, the paint has become matt. Rust damage is found on the lower edge of both front wings. Otherwise, some superficial corrosion on the roof drainage rails.

The car need a comprehensive overhaul, but it does not appear to be too difficult to restore this Honda into a driving condition.

Facts about the model
Det var deras första verkliga marknadsframgång utan dyra tekniska lösningar från den trögsålda Honda 1300'n. Den var större än den lilla N-serien. Civic fastställde riktningen för Hondas bildesign som de följt sedan dess.
Som nybilsköpare fick man punga ut med 24 300 kr. För det fick man en bil som klarade av 0-100 km/h på c:a 15 sekunder och hade en toppfart på 145 km/h. Denna modell tävlade man bl.a. med i rally där den lämpligaste klassen var Standard B.

Important to know before placing your bids!

- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
