The current owner purchased the car in Norway in the summer of 2021 from a car collector who has a vast collection of cars. The Mustang was imported to Norway in the early 2000s from a Volomuseum in Illinois, USA. It was purchased new in Winchester in the spring of 1969. The car has an older repaint from when it was in the United States.
The clear coat appears to have cracked slightly, however this is not noticeable (see image "door handle"). The car feels solid and has a good underbody. There is no corrosion or swelling seams in the wing edges doors, hood or boot lid. It's nice to see that it has AC, which is also indicated on the "Build Sheet" and the body plate, even if it doesn't work.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for individuals looking to purchase a Mustang GT in very good and relatively untouched condition, as well as in a great original design.

Mechanical condition
It runs nicely in the engine and driveline. AC is present but inoperable. The electric convertible top functions perfectly.

Interior condition
There are some tiny stains on the right side panel of the back seat. The driver's seat has a seam that has dropped somewhat on the backrest, as shown in the photo. The interior is otherwise in good shape.

Exterior condition
There are minor paint improvements around the door handles and on the car's side. The Mustang has an older repaint that was made in the United States. The clear coat has slightly cracked.

Facts about the model
Mustang av årgång 1968 byggdes i 317 424 exemplar varav 25 385 exemplar var tvådörrars cabrioletter och av dem var 676 utrustade med 390-4V V8 motor. Av dessa var 336 utrustade med C-6 automatlåda. 30 av dessa blev lackerade i färgen "Sunlit Gold" och fyra av dessa utrustades med "Nugget Gold Vinyl Standard Bucket Seats". Av dessa var tre utrustade av "GT Equipment Group" och av dessa hade två "Front Seat Headrests"....en av dessa bilar utrustades med en AM/FM stereo radio. Denna har chassienummer 8T03S225088 och detta är denna Ford Mustang GT som enligt Martirapporten blev utrustad med AM/FM radio.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
