Description
The vehicle is in exceptionally good condition. There are no major damages, rust, or noticeable flaws. The engine turns over, but the tank is empty, and the carburetor and lines should be checked before attempting to start it. The battery is also missing. Fortunately, most parts are still available for purchase to address these needs.
Technical data
Condition
-
Mechanical condition
Inactive and not driven for 40 years. Needs to be serviced before starting. Everything looks good and the engine is turning over. Slow puncture on one wheel.
-
Interior condition
Very nice in terms of both appearance and condition. No objections.
-
Exterior condition
Professionally repainted in the 1980s and still looks as good as new (the paint must have cost more than the vehicle was worth at that time). The only issue is some spackle residue at the bottom right front. There are scratches on the left side door's glass window. Despite this, the overall impression is very good.
-
General condition
Wonderful design in a nice combination with interesting technology. Slightly used, as it has been on display in a museum most of its time. Particularly interesting specimen as it was sold new in Sweden. Sold without registration. Buyer needs to register it themselves. Old registration certificate is included for registration with the Swedish transport agency.
Facts about the model
When Lambro 175 series 2 was launched in September 1963, the chassis numbers started from 499,501. Series 2 represented the culmination of the continuous technical development that had been carried out on the Lambretta Li 175. With Series 2, several changes were made to align it with the new Lambro 200. Since both models were marketed together, a more unified design was desired.
