Description
It was imported to Sweden privately as early as 1962 and therefore became model year 1962 according to the register, but according to chassis number 1249 it is model year 1961. The current owner bought the car in 2016 and a previous owner had the engine renovated at a vocational school in the eighties. The same owner also renovated and painted the car, also in the eighties. The last approved inspection was made on 31 May 2016 and the car was thus approved and exempt from inspection when the new inspection rules came into force on 20 May 2018. The meter reading is currently 1502 km, the meter has probably gone around at least once,

Mechanical condition
Mechanically, the car feels and sounds fine, and the engine revs up quickly. The springs were changed not too long ago, and the chassis feels healthy and flexible by the time's standards. Newer air filters are on, but the old ones are included for those who want to keep the old look.

Interior condition
Stylish light leather upholstery in original design, upholstered in the late nineties. The radio is of a typical older model, a Blaupunkt that works well. The carpets in the original version have been installed by the current owner.

Exterior condition
The paint is from the eighties and in a couple of places there are some small blisters. They are not clearly visible, but they are there. Otherwise, the paint and the car's exterior are very presentable together with good chrome and five original and model-specific hubcaps

Facts about the model
De tidiga Jensen-bilarna är enligt expertis de enda som ska benämnas P1800. Övriga svenskbyggda heter 1800 S och 1800 ES, även om Volvos snygga sportbil oavsett årsmodell och byggland nog alltid kommer att vara en P1800 för många.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
