Volkswagen Jetta, first generation (A1). Only 86,085 kilometres have been driven. Only two people have used it since it was delivered in 1981, both in Värmland. These owners have cherished the car since it was new. The previous owner was a lady who drove it until 2005. The current owner has had the car for 17 years. According to witnesses, it was never parked outside at night and was always kept in her warm garage. In the spring of 1981, she purchased the car from VW-Lecab in Karlstad. You can now own this lovely green Jetta. After 17 years, the current owner decides to sell it because he has too many cars and this one is too nice to use. It was inspected no later than April 25 of this year, and the inspector awarded it a rare 5 star sticker for outstanding condition.

Mechanical condition
Equipped with 4-cylinder 1500cc engine of 75hp, and 4-speed manual transmission. Works fine without any known technical faults. No rattling or noise. cambelt replacement carried out in 2020. Ready for driving and newly inspected 2022-04-25. New summer tires fitted on the original wheels are included.

Interior condition
From the time the car was new until 2005, it had a seat cover. This has helped to keep the interior in pristine condition. In 2005, a newer radio was installed. For added security, the previous owner fitted double floor mats both in the car and boot area. We'd like to say that the boot space is equivalent to new.

Exterior condition
The jetta is in pristine original condition and is one of only a few in Sweden. Original paint is in excellent condition all around. A small scratch on the left rear wing has been touch up, and there is a paint chip on the A-pillar (this happen when installing a new windscreen in the spring of 2022) "See pictures".

Facts about the model
Volkswagen Jetta som bygger på första generationen VW Golf. Modellen kom hösten 1979 som årsmodell 1980. Aktuell bil är byggd september 1980, som modell 1981. Den är alltså från första produktionsåret, men andra årsmodellen. Bilen baseras tekniskt på samma komponenter som VW Golf. Bakpartiet är förlängt och bakluckan är konventionell. Man kan krasst sett kalla VW Jetta för "en Golf sedan". Första generationens Jetta fanns med 2- eller 4 dörrars karosseri, likaså den andra generationen. Senare versioner tillhandahåller även en kombiversion, den bygger på Jetta/Vento/Boras underrede men kallas dock oftast för Golf Variant. Jettan togs fram då efterfrågan för sedanmodell av populära Golfen var stor i USA.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
