"Thoroughly renovated car that works excellently and is ready to drive."

Description

This Minor was originally sold to a master painter in Norrsundet, who used it for two years. It changed hands a couple of times before being deregistered in the late 1960s, having been in traffic for only ten years. The car was left standing and eventually inherited by someone who intended to convert the Morris into an EPA tractor. This owner grew tired of the project after only cutting the rear part of the roof. In this condition, the car ended up in Gävle in 2000. This owner renovated the car in stages, and it was completely dismantled with everything except the gearbox being renovated, inspected, or replaced. It was completed and freshly painted in the color British Racing Green in 2015. It also received a new interior purchased from Newton Commercial in England. The car eventually ended up with the current owner, who renovated the braking system and fitted new tires on the five original wheels. The Morris is slightly tuned with a larger carburetor, extractor manifold, and a 2-inch exhaust system.

Facts about the model

The Morris Minor was produced between 1948 and 1972, with over 1.6 million units manufactured before production ceased. From 1948 to 1953, the MM model was produced, featuring headlights low-mounted in the grille. The Series II was produced from 1952 to 1956. In 1975, the Minor 1000 was introduced, featuring a larger and more powerful engine. There were several body styles available, including pickup, van, and an open-top model with a folding roof called the Tourer. Perhaps the most well-known variant is the Traveller, with its distinctive visible wooden framework on the rear of the estate wagon.
