Mechanical condition
The car starts easily and runs smoothly without any knocking or unusual sounds from the engine or drivetrain. There are no vibrations present. The steering feels light while driving, although it may feel slightly sluggish when the car is stationary. The undercarriage is in good condition, and there are no signs of oil leakage. However, the ignition lock spring is worn and may need to be replaced. Additionally, the front suspension will require an alignment after the installation of the new ball joints.

Interior condition
Interior in original condition with some wear and tear, the driver's seat has a tear in the cushion. The heat control knob is sticking. Crack in the rubber seal for the windshield.

Exterior condition
The car has been completely or partially repainted, but it has been some time since the repaint was done. The current paint has a slightly dull appearance and shows signs of small damages and previous repairs underneath. The gloss and glass surfaces are in good condition. It is equipped with nice BMW/BBS wheels fitted with new tires. However, one of the position lights on the fenders (USA version) has a broken glass.

General condition
The BMW 02 series is highly sought after as a collector's car today. It is considered a comfortable "family sports car" and, in a way, a predecessor to the popular GTI cars that have been a success over the years. Here we have a vehicle in good mechanical condition that can be driven and used as it is, serving as a rolling restoration project, or undergoing a more extensive restoration. The choice is up to the new owner, who will acquire a classic icon from the 1960s and 1970s, regardless of the path chosen.

General information about the condition of the vehicles .
- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
- For items that have not been collected within 14 days storage costs may be charged.
